DACTILUS 10 mg

Formula:

• Dapagliflozin (as propanediol monohydrate): 10 mg.

Indications:

• Type 2 diabetes:

In adults and children 10 years of age and older, when diet and exercise are not sufficient.

Alone or in combination with other diabetes medications.

• Heart failure:

In adults with symptoms associated with a weak heart pump.

• Chronic kidney disease:

In adults with reduced kidney function.

Therapeutic action:

• Sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor.
• Promotes the elimination of glucose, sodium, and water from the body through urine.

Dosage:

• Recommended dose: 10 mg daily.
• In patients with liver problems: start with 5 mg daily.
• Take the tablet whole with water, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
