Descripción
Formula:
Azithromycin 200mg
Indications:
• It is indicated in conditions caused by susceptible organisms, lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis and pneumonia), skin infections and soft tissues, in otitis media and upper respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, pharyngitis and tonsillitis).
• It is indicated in the treatment of uncomplicated genital infections due to chlamydia trachomatis and non-resistant neisseria gonorrhoeae.
Dosage:
• Adults 500 mg daily for three days, the treatment can be extended to 6 days.
• Children:10 mg/kg daily of body weight in a single daily dose for 3 days and the treatment may be extended to 6 days according to medical criteria.
• For the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases caused by chlamydia trachomatis or neisseria gonorrhoeae the dose would be 1 g administered in an oral dose.
Presentation:
Box containing container with powder to reconstitute 30mL of suspension + dosing syringe.
