Regulane Tablets and Solution

Anti-diarrheal

Formula:

• Tablets: Loperamide 2mg
• Solution: Loperamide 1mg/5ml

Indications:

• Loperamide is used to control and relieve the symptoms of acute diarrhea. It is also used to treat chronic diarrhea in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Loperamide helps stop diarrhea by slowing down the movements of the intestines.

Directions:

1ml = 20drops = 0.2mg

Acute diarrhea- 10 drops /kg/day in 3 divided doses

Adults : 4mg initially followed by 2 mg after each loose stool.
