Formula:

• Omeprazole 20mg

Indications:

• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and esophagitis in adults and children over 12 years of age.
• Gastroduodenal ulcer.
• Treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection, as an adjuvant to antibiotics.
• Prevention of gastroduodenal ulcers with NSAIDs.
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Dosage:

The dose will be established individually according to the medical criteria and clinical picture of the patient.

Orally, take without dividing 30-60 minutes before breakfast.

• Active duodenal ulcer, GERD or reflux esophagitis: 20 mg per day
• Gastric ulcer and prevention of stress ulcer in critically ill patients: 40 mg per day
• As an adjuvant in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori: 20 mg every 12 hours for 10-14 days in combination with amoxicillin and clarithromycin.
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: 60 mg per day.
• Pediatrics: 1-16 years: weight between 5 and 10 kg: 5 mg per day; between 10 and 20 kg: 10 mg per day and children weighing < 20 kg: 20 mg per day.
• Prevention of stress ulcers: 0.5 mg/kg every 12 h.
