Formula 

Each Mylanta Extra chewable tablet contains:

• Calcium Carbonate 800mg
• Magnesium Hydroxide 165mg
• Famotidine 10mg

 Indications

• Mylanta Extra is indicated for the short term relief of heartburn. Mylanta Extra has the presence of famotidine which is a drug that blocks further acid release in the stomach causing a stop on future heartburn and acid indigestion. In addition, calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide are antacids that work quickly to lower the present acid in the stomach and stop heartburn.

Advantages

• Mylanta Extra stops current symptoms and prevents incoming symptoms. The tablet is sugarless and does not contain sodium.

Dosage

• Adults and adolescents over 16 years old: Chew 1 tablet 1-2 times per day during pain/burn, before meals or before bedtime. Make sure to chew the tablet.
