Descripción

Ingredients:

• Cyproterone acetate 2mg
• Ethinylestradiol 0.035mg

Indications:

• It acts as an oral contraceptive but should not be used in women solely for contraception but reserved for those requiring treatment for the androgen-dependent skin conditions described.
• It is also used for treatment of severe acne which has not improved after the long-term use of oral antibiotics.
• It is used for excessive hair growth on the face and body.

How does it work?

• The hyperfunction of the sebaceous glands, which plays an important role in the development of acne, is reduced.
• The contraceptive action is based on the inhibition of ovulation and changes in cervical mucus.

Directions:

• Treatment is started on the first day of the cycle, From that moment on, you should take one tablet every day for 21 consecutive days, until the end of the treatment.
• After having taken the 21 tablets, a 7-day break should be taken.
• During this break, 2-4 days after the last tablet is taken, a bleeding like menstrual bleeding will occur. After the 7-day break, on the eighth day a new pack is started.
