Artificial tears

Formula:

• Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose 3mg

Indications:

• It is used to relieve dryness and irritation caused by reduced tear flow.
• It helps prevent damage to the eye in certain eye diseases.
• It lubricates the eyes helps in maintaining the moisture of the eyes. This way it provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort caused by dry eyes. It also reduces redness and swelling of the eye.
• Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose may also be used to moisten hard contact lenses and artificial eyes. In addition, it may be used in certain eye examinations.

Directions:

• Use as needed to lubricate the eyes or as directed by the doctor.
