Formula:

Each capsule contains:

200 mg of Fluconazole

Indications:

Fluconazole is indicated for the treatment of mucosal candidiasis, systemic candidiasis, cryptologic meningitis, vaginal candidiasis, prevention of fungal infections in patients with neoplasia and dermatomycosis, endemic deep mycoses in immuno-compromised patients.

Dosage: TAKE AS PRESCRIBED BY YOUR DOCTOR.

For treating cryptococcal meningitis:400 mg on the first day, then 200 mg to 400 mg once daily for 6 to 8 weeks, or longer if needed. The dose is sometimes increased to 800 mg.
To prevent cryptococcal meningitis from recurring:200 mg once a day until directed by your doctor
To treat coccidioidomycosis:200 mg to 400 mg once daily from 11 months to 24 months, or longer if needed. The dose is sometimes increased to 800 mg.
To treat internal fungal infections caused by Candida:800 mg the first day and then 400 mg once a day until directed by your doctor
To treat mucous membrane infections affecting the lining of the mouth, throat, or associated with dentures:200 mg to 400 mg on the first day, then 100 mg to 200 mg until directed by your doctor.
To treat mucous membrane candidiasis: The dose depends on the location of the infection: 50 mg to 400 mg once a day for 7 to 30 days until directed by your doctor.
To prevent mucosal infections affecting the lining of the mouth and throat:100 mg to 200 mg once a day, or 200 mg 3 times a week, while the risk of developing an infection continues: 150 mg in a single dose
To reduce repeated outbreaks of vaginal candidiasis:150 mg every three days for a total of 3 doses (days 1, 4, and 7), then once weekly while the risk of developing an infection continues.
To treat fungal infections of the skin or nails: Depending on the site of the infection 50 mg once a day, 150 mg once a week, 300 to 400 mg once a week for 1 to 4 weeks (for athlete’s foot up to 6 weeks may be needed, for nail infections continue treatment until a healthy nail grows out).
To prevent the spread of a Candida infection (if your immune system is weak and not working properly):200 mg to 400 mg once a day while you are at risk of developing an infection
