Formula:

Every 5mL of PHESTAL (powder for suspension) contain:

• Nitazoxanide 100mg

Every PHESTAL tablet contains:

• Nitazoxanide 500mg

Indications:

PHESTAL is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic medication against intestinal protozoa and helminths.

PHESTAL is effective for the treatment of diarrhea in adults and children caused by giardia, ameba and cryptosporidium, also known as traveler’s diarrhea.

Dosage:

Children: 7.5mg/kg every 12 hours for 3 days.

Adults: One tablet every 12 hours for 3 days.

PHESTAL (powder for suspension): Bottles with 30mL or 60mL.
