Antitussive – Decongestant – Antihistaminic
Formula:
Every 5 mL contains:
• Dextromethorphan HBr 10mg
• Phenylephrine HCl 5mg
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2mg
Indications:
• It is indicated in the treatment of catarrhal congestion of the respiratory tract, irritative cough of various etiologies, cough of allergic origin.
• Related to flu-like processes, rhinitis, pharyngitis and tracheobronchitis.
Advantages:
• Contains Dextromethorphan HBr, Phenylephrine HCl, Chlorpheniramine Maleate which is used together to reduce the symptoms caused by colds or allergies.
Dosage:
Unless prescribed by a physician:
• Children 2 to 6 years old: 2.5 to 5mL every 6 to 8 hours.
• Children from 7 to 12 years old: 5mL every 6 hours.
• Adults: 10mL every 4 to 6 hours.
